True Blue Reuse & Repair Spring Clean-Out Competition

Which group can recycle the most clothes? True Blue Reuse & Repair is hosting a friendly competition to see which club or organization can recycle the most clothing. Reduce waste, refresh your wardrobe, and support sustainability on campus! Clean out those closets and support your favorite club. HOW TO PARTICIPATE Step 1: Clean out your closet over the break
 Step 2: Get your friends to do the same
 Step 3: Donate clean, gently-used clothing
 Step 4: Bring your donations to the TSC Lounges on Jan 12, 12–3 PM
 Step 5: Cast your vote for the group you want to win! Winning club gets a FREE Aggie Ice Cream for each club member!
 PLUS—you can earn extra points by encouraging people outside your organization. Donate only clean, gently used items

MLK Day of Service, Project 3: Running Practice with Athletics United Youth

Student Activities

The USU Center for Community Engagement invites students to honor the legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by participating in six different community engagement projects. As our friends at AmeriCorps say, "Make it a day ON, not a day OFF!" Athletics United is a non-profit running club dedicated to building community by providing a supportive environment for children and youth, including kids from immigrant and refugee backgrounds. Their activities, including both running as well as tutoring students, are completely run through donations and volunteer support. As a volunteer, you get to participate in the running club and offer support and encouragement to these young runners! Sign up through AggiePulse (link provided).

MLK Day of Service, Project 4: Sorting Donations with The Fuller Center for Housing

Student Activities

The USU Center for Community Engagement invites students to honor the legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by participating in six different community engagement projects! As our friends at AmeriCorps say, "Make it a day ON, not a day OFF!" The Fuller Center for Housing is a non-profit organzation that seeks to eradicate poverty housing by promoting partnerships with individuals and community groups to build and rehabilitate homes for people in need. MLK Day of Service, Project 5: Tabling to Support Local Non-Profits

Student Activities

The USU Center for Community Engagement invites students to honor the legacy of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. by participating in six different community engagement projects. As our friends at AmeriCorps say, "Make it a day ON, not a day OFF!" You can help support Cache Humane Society, The Family Place, and the WAB Warming Center by tabling with us for MLK day! We will be in front of Lee’s Marketplace (Logan) handing out donation fliers to customers. This project has been split into one-hour shifts, but feel free to commit to the whole time!
