Harvest Rescue

Student Activities

Harvest Rescue coordinates available ready-to-harvest produce from tree and garden owners with local volunteers to pick and donate the produce to organizations who can use it. Volunteers who harvest and pick produce are required to wear closed toed shoes and be respectful of the tree/land owners property. Volunteers under the age of 18 are required to have adult supervision during sessions. Volunteers are permitted to take home a small portion of the harvested produce in appreciation for their support.

Student Sustainability Club Opening Social

Student Activities

Come to the Sustainability Club Opening Social to learn about the Student Sustainability Club, play games, and help us brainstorm future events! We want your input on what you want to see from the club this year, so come with any ideas you have for sustainability-focused events. Stop by the LLC firepit (at the far west side of the LLC) on Tuesday September 16 from 6:30pm-7:30pm to chat with us and hang out with your friends. Bring a snack if you're able to share. Watermelon and games will be provided!

USU Farmers Market

Student Activities

The USU Farmers Market brings community members together to purchase locally-made and locally-grown food, crafts and other products. Students are able to utilize the Double Your Bucks program which allows active USU students to double their money in dollar increments up to $6.00. Double Your Bucks tokens may only be used in the Market towards produce and select food items.

Legacy of Val Day of Service: Land Stewardship at the UCC Urban Community Farm

Student Activities

Lend a hand as we honor the legacy of Val Christensen at the Utah Conservation Corps' Urban Community Farm! Volunteers will be assisting with farm tasks, work on urban forestry duties, and prep for a new pollinator garden project. Register through AggiePulse (link provided below). Optional carpool is available after registration.
