The Home Screen
Redesigned to provide a snapshot of your week's schedule and offer quick access to routine tasks, including:
- Creating time slots
- Accessing Follow-ups and Referrals
- An advisor's assigned students (coming soon)
- Student profiles
Access the home screen upon logon or at anytime by pressing "Home" at the top of the screen.
The Check-in Queue
Cleaned and simplified, the new design offers a streamlined experience for documenting both pre-scheduled and walk-in appointments, while providing quick access to valuable student insights. Updates include:
- Color coded cards that make it easy to identify the check-in status of each student
- Auto saving notes should you need to switch to another screen
- A new indicator that displays the number of open follow-up/referrals associated with a student
New Features
Gain real-time visibility into student performance with Canvas insights and send personalized, mass communications using new outreach tools. These new tools will be available to academic advisors in the new instance.
Customizations
Make Achieve work best for you! The new interface provides the ability to:
- Pick and choose what you want displayed in a custom "My Menu" navigation.
- Easily access and edit your profile
- Work in a new dark mode
Additional Details
The new interface will be available on the new instance of Achieve (studentappts). Training resources will be coming shortly. Once available, staff on the new instance should switch to the new interface by August 21 and are encouraged to make the switch ahead of time at their own conveneince. The old interface will eventually be retired.

Bookmark and use the URL below to access the new interface. This will replace the old URL (studentappts.usu.edu/am/) which will be retired in the future.
