New Achieve User Interface

A new backend interface is coming to Achieve this summer. This guide shows how to use the outreach functionality in both the current interface and the old interface.

Send Emails in the Current Interface

There are two ways to tell Achieve which students to message: using a file upload or by copy & pasting a list of A-numbers.

Using a File Upload

  1. Prepare a .csv file with the A-numbers of the students you want to message. The A-numbers should be placed in the first column of the sheet. Don't include any other information.
  2. Under the Success tab, select Conversations in the Student Data Upload section.
  3. Next to Select Student ID File (txt or csv) click the Select button then find your file. One you've selected the file, click Upload Student ID File.
  4. A list of the students in the uploaded file will be displayed. If there are any students you don't want included, simply uncheck their names in the list.
  5. Prepare the message, including the subject and body.
  6. When you're ready to send the message, click Send E-mail to Selected Students.
  7. The record of the email being sent will be recorded on each student's profile.

Copy & Pasting a List of A-Numbers

  1. Under the Success tab, select Conversations in the File Upload section.
  2. Copy the A-numbers of the students you want to email and paste them into the text box under Copy & Paste Student ID's below. Click Show Student Information
  3. A list of the students will be displayed, if there are any students you don't want included, simple uncheck their names in the list.
  4. Prepare the message, including the subject and body.
  5. When you're ready to send the message, click Send E-mail to Selected Students.
  6. The record of the email being sent will be recorded on each student's profile.
    Email records are accessible by searching for a student under the Student tab, then selecting the Emails option.

Send Emails in the New Interface

  1. Under Success Campaign, select Conversations.
  2. Under Conversation Type select Email then select Data Source.
  3. Choose how you'd like to enter the A-numbers of the students you want to message.

      2. Click the Select files... button then find your file. One you've selected the file, click Upload Student ID File.
    2. Copy & Paste A-numbers
      1. Select Copy & Paste Student ID
      2. Copy the A-numbers of the students you want to email and paste them into the provided text box.
      3. Click Show Student Information

  4. A list of the students will be displayed, if there are any students you don't want included, simple uncheck their names in the list.
  5. Select Send SMS/Email then prepare the message, including the subject and body.
  6. When you're ready to send the message, click Send E-mail to Selected Students.
  7. The record of the email being sent will be recorded on each student's profile.
    Access email records for a student by going to the student's profile in Achieve, selecting Actions, then Emails.
