Honorary Degrees and Commencement Speaker Nominations

Utah State University welcomes ongoing nominations for Honorary Degrees and future Commencement Speakers. Nominations are accepted year‑round, and each submission remains active and under consideration for a period of three years. All nominations should remain confidential until a final decision is made by the University’s Board of Trustees.

The selection committee seeks individuals who:

• Have demonstrated exceptional achievement or leadership within their professional field.
• Have made significant contributions that support or elevate the mission, reputation, or advancement of Utah State University.
• Exemplify qualities and accomplishments that would bring distinction to both the honoree and the University
