Grace Wheeler

In acknowledgement of her demonstrated commitment to exceptional leadership, steadfast dedication to student success, and outstanding contributions to campus life, we are pleased to commend Utah State University honors student Grace Wheeler.

Grace is pursuing a double major in Political Science and Communications, with a minor in French. She chose to attend USU due to its strong sense of community and involvement, and she epitomizes this spirit by embracing every opportunity to connect and contribute as an Aggie.

As Chief of Staff, Grace plays an invaluable role within the USU Student Association, frequently demonstrating remarkable initiative in proactively supporting officers, the student body, and the university at large. Together with this enthusiasm, her organizational acumen and thoughtful leadership have been instrumental to the success of many student initiatives. Whether through her warm demeanor or her dedication to respectful and uplifting dialogue, Grace consistently uplifts everyone with whom she interacts.

Her impact extends beyond campus as well. In 2025, Grace served as a Public Policy Intern with the Salvation Army in Washington, D.C. and as a Legislative Intern for the Cache Valley School District. In 2024, she gained hands-on international experience as a Security Office Intern for the U.S. Embassy in Uganda. She is also a CLS Spark Scholar with the U.S. Department of State, further underscoring her passion for global engagement.

Beyond her remarkable achievement, what truly distinguishes Grace is her unwavering determination to make a difference. She consistently exceeds expectations, working tirelessly behind the scenes while inspiring those around her. Through her diligent pursuit of excellence, she has strengthened USU in profound ways, becoming a trusted and indispensable leader within our community.

Grace’s actions and accomplishments in every way reflect the values that define our university, and it is with great pride that we recommend her for recognition as an exemplary representative of Utah State University.
