AmeriCorps Individual Placement
About UCC's Individual Placement AmeriCorps Program
Utah Conservation Corps' Individual Placement Program connects AmeriCorps service to non-profit and government organizations addressing stewardship, education, conservation, and food security in Utah.
UCC's Individual Placement AmeriCorps members serve with one UCC partner organization for their entire term of service. While serving, Individual Placement members have the opportunity to gain experience and professional development through their host site. Additionally, they have access to AmeriCorps benefits and receive training related to education, outreach, and volunteer management.
Utah Conservation Corps partners with a variety of organizations, government agencies, and schools. The list of partners hosting UCC Individual Placement members changes year to year, and service activities vary by site. Below are some of UCC's current and past partners.
How to Get Involved
Each partnering site conducts their own recruitment (advertisement, interviews, selection, tentative offer) process for their UCC AmeriCorps Individual Placement (IP) position(s) with support from UCC staff. Except for special grants and projects, the applications for the upcoming calendar year opens on Sept 1 and closes on Oct 31. To be considered, sites wishing to host IPs during the upcoming calendar year must apply during that open period.
