Onboarding must be completed ASAP. You will be unable to participate in the UCC program if you fail to complete these tasks.

Steps to Complete Onboarding

You may refer to this Onboarding Flowchart to track your progress. The steps you will need to complete are highlighted in yellow. Please email erica.saunders@usu.edu with any questions.

Step 1 - UCC Onboarding

You will need to begin by filling out the Onboarding Questionnaire UCC Onboarding Form. This step gathers the information to begin your onboarding process. Our questionnaire also collects emergency contacts and information about any medical conditions to help ensure your safety.

  • You will need to upload a photo of your ID with the Onboarding Questionnaire

Step 2 - Background Checks

AmeriCorps requires that all members pass a National Security Criminal History Check.

  • You will receive an email from Truescreen Application Station
  • This is your background check that is required by AmeriCorps
    • Provide the information requested through the Truescreen portal
    • Set up and attend an appointment for fingerprinting
