Unit Liaisons

Unit liaisons are usually college associate deans. However, USU Libraries and the Honors Program also have designated unit liaisons. Unit liaisons serve as the main point of contact between the Provost’s office and colleges/units. They establish deadlines, evaluate funding requests, notify departments of award amounts, monitor funding transfers, and provide an annual accounting of unit expenditures to the Provost’s Office. Each semester, they review student and faculty UTF Experience Evaluations and notify the Provost’s Office of concerns.

Unit liaisons must fully understand the responsibilities and rights of program participation, act as mediators when needed, and keep the program in compliance with government regulations. They facilitate their unit’s UTF of the year nominations and luncheon invitations.
