Biography

Hello! My name is Lauren Tougas, and I am a dual major in Music Education (Choral Conducting) and Vocal Performance. I am deeply passionate about the power of artistic expression to connect and inspire. As an aspiring professional conductor, I am planning to eventually earn a Doctorate in Musical Arts.  Beyond my studies, I am currently the USUSA Caine College of the Arts Senator, where I am working to advocate for the arts and elevate its role in our education system.  When I'm not conducting or singing, I love cooking, attending church activities, or just hanging out with good friends. As a Writing Fellow, I look forward to helping others refine their ideas and find clarity and confidence in their writing.  I can't wait to work with you!
