Due to a sidewalk reconstruction project by the university Facilities crew, the art museum will be closed to the public from May 6 to June 8, 2013. The museum plans to reopen with its regular hours on Monday, June 10, 2013. For more information, please contact the museum representative using the information below.

Spring Nature Walks, Saturdays, 10 a.m. Join us for an easy stroll and learn about the history of Swaner, what animals and plants call the preserve home, and how the preserve changes through the seasons. Boots or mudshoes recommended. Nature enthusiasts of all ages are welcome. Reservations for nature walks are suggested. There is a $5 fee for non-members, free for members. 10:00 am - 4:00 pm    Utah Archaeology at the Museum of Anthropology

From Danger Cave to Nine Mile Canyon, Utah is home to some of the most impressive archaeological sites in the world! Please join us at the Museum of Anthropology on Saturday, June 1, for an illustrated lecture at 1 p.m. that will take you on a virtual tour around the state as we explore important archaeological sites. Guided docent tours of our Great Basin exhibits will take place throughout the day, and kids can also try out their excavation skills and record artifacts in our dig boxes. The museum is open from 10 a.m.-4 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and admission is always FREE!

Climbing Wall Hours: Saturdays from 1-3 p.m. The Swaner EcoCenter indoor, wetland-themed climbing wall is open every Saturday from 1-3 p.m. Free for members, $5 per person for non-members. Open to all ages. We provide the climbing harness. Climbers under 18 years of age must be accompanied by an adult to sign a liability waiver.
