Important Financial Aid Deadlines:


Spring Semester 2015 (2014-15 FAFSA)

Students should consider filing their 2014-15 FAFSA before this November to have a good chance at meeting spring 2015 tuition payment deadlines. Students should file the 2014-15 FAFSA before April 2015 to meet other deadlines for spring term if they are not attending summer 2015. Students must have a complete file to be offered financial aid.

  • November 14 - January 28: Grants will increase or decrease based on enrollment.
  • Wed, Dec 10: Tuition and Fee payment deadline: Any difference between accepted financial aid and fall charges must be paid by this date.
  • Mon, Jan 17: Tuition and Fee payment deadline: Any difference between accepted financial aid and fall charges must be paid by this date.
  • Wed, January 28: Last day to register for courses in spring term and still receive grants, if otherwise eligible.
    Any courses registered after this date do not qualify for an increase in grants even if it is for a session that hasn't started yet.
  • Wed, Apr 22: Last day for an appeal to be received in the financial aid office.
  • Fri, Apr 24: Last day to process a Parent PLUS loan. (You must have been awarded before this date!)
  • Fri, Apr 24: Last day to accept Direct loans for students only attending fall semester. (You must have been awarded before this date!)
  • Fri, Apr 24: Last day to have your 2014-15 FAFSA processed if you are only attending fall semester and are eligible for a Pell grant.
  • If you are selected for verification, verification forms must be submitted within one week of your last date of attendance for the term.


Fall Semester 2014 (2014-15 FAFSA)

  • Mon, Sep 15: Last day to register for courses in fall term and still receive grants, if otherwise eligible.

Students should file the 2013-14 FAFSA before this June to to meet other deadlines for summer 2014 term. Students must have a complete file to be offered summer aid. Grants for summer terms will increase or decrease based on enrollment throughout the term until August 8, 2014.

  • Mon, June 30: Last day to have your 2013-14 FAFSA submitted (midnight Central Daylight time)
  • Fri, July 11: Last day for an appeal to be received in the financial aid office.
  • Fri, August 1: Last day to accept Direct loans. (You must have been awarded before this date!)
  • Fri, August 1: Last day to process Parent PLUS loans. (You must have been awarded before this date!)
  • Fri, August 8: Last day that grants will adjust based on enrollment.
  • If you are selected for verification, verification forms must be submitted within one week of your last date of attendance for the term.
  • Fri, Sep 12, 2014 - Last day to verify academic participation in withdrawn or failed courses.

  • Mon, Jan 27: Last day to be enrolled in spring classes to receive grants. Grants will no longer adjust up and down after this date unless you drop a course and fail to document academic participation.
  • Fri, Apr 25: Last day to accept Direct loans for spring-only loans. (You must have been awarded before this date!)
  • Fri, Apr 25: Last day to process Parent PLUS loans for spring-only loans. (You must have been awarded before this date!)
  • Fri, Apr 25: Last day for an appeal to be received in the financial aid office.
  • Fri, May 02: Last day to have your 2013-14 FAFSA processed if you are only attending spring semester and you only want a Pell grant, if otherwise eligible.

Grants for summer terms will increase or decrease based on enrollment through July 15.

  • Thurs, July 21: Last day for an appeal to be received in the financial aid office.
  • Fri, July 29: Last day to accept award for Direct/Stafford or PLUS loans for summer semester loans. (You must have been awarded before this date!)
  • If you are selected for verification, verification forms must be submitted within one week of your last date of attendance for the term.
  • Please note: grants for summer terms will increase or decrease based on enrollment through July 15.

Spring Semester 2011 (2010-11 FAFSA)
