Log in to your profile and review the 'Questions' tab on the left side of the screen to update previously answered questions and/or answer new questions. This will help the scholarship system search on your behalf for scholarships that you may be eligible for.

The 24-25 FAFSA will open in December 2023! To prepare, students and their parents or spouse should create their Account now!
USU is a CCT Partner! Utah State University is committed to using the Principles & Standards of the College Cost Transparency Initiative in its student financial aid offer. USU is the first institution in Utah to be an approved partner with CCT.

As a student at Utah State University, you are making a significant investment in your future. The Student Financial Support Team is here to help you identify ways to pay for college.

You are encouraged to complete the following steps each academic year to access financial resources:

Step 1:
Complete FAFSA

Receiving federal aid (grants, work-study, federal loans) starts with completing your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Step 2:
Apply for Scholarships

Apply to USU scholarships and off campus, private scholarships via one scholarship portal.

Step 3:
Meet with a Financial Coach

Financial coaches help you create a budget and brainstorm ways to reduce your spending and increase your income.
