Orientation Breakfasts
A week prior to your scheduled orientation you should receive an email inviting you to the first-generation student breakfast. The breakfast takes place prior to your scheduled orientation start time. Incoming students and families are welcome to attend and learn more about what it means to be an Aggie First Scholar and other Utah State University resources available to first-generation college students. If you are a first-generation student and did not recieve an invite, please reach out to afs@usu.edu.
AFS First Year Orientation
Join Aggie First Scholars for the first year orientation. This orientation is for all first-year Utah State University students who identify as first-generation scholars. At the Aggie First Scholar First Year Orientation, you will receive faculty introductions, meet your peer mentor, learn about campus resources and more! Dinner is provided.

Class Registration
During the fall semester, Aggie First Scholars offers >USU 1050: Navigating College: Aggie First Scholars. This 1-credit class offeref in both the first and seven weeks with an Honors credit option provides valuable insights and skills tailored to first-generation college students. This class is taught by first-generation faculty.
