Anya Hawke

Biography

Anya is a Prehealth Advisor in the Office of University and Exploratory Advising. She has predominantly been working with students to maximize their application success to various competitive health graduate programs. She is a Utah State University alum, having earned both a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts in the Department of English. Anya first began working in higher education in 2012 where her early experiences revealed to her the connections between belonging and human potential. She has since developed her passion for championing authenticity and mattering with both students and teammates. As an academic advisor, she utilizes Appreciative Advising to intentionally create spaces of belonging, advocate for individuality and inclusion among students, and proactively engage with data to better promote human potential.
