Join a Pre-Health Canvas Advising Course
These ungraded Canvas courses offer students access to exclusive Pre-Health materials and resources, as well as a more thorough understanding of how to become a competitive applicant for these health profession graduate programs. Students are welcome to join any and all courses that align with their goals, and you may leave at any time. If you'd like to see additional courses, let us know which profession you'd like next by filling out this short survey.
Join a Pre-Health Canvas Advising Course:
Meet with a Pre-Health Exploratory or Peer Advisor
First time visitors, freshman, and exploratory students of all health professions will learn how to:
- Navigate the general preparation needed for health-related graduate programs
- Brainstorm ideas for extracurricular involvement
- Create a Degree Works plan with prerequisite courses that match your goals


Meet with a Health Professions/Pre-Health Advisor
Following the first visit, students will meet regularly with the Health Professions/Pre-Health Advisor to gain insight and understanding of what it takes to build a competitive application, including:
- Extracurricular development and strategies
- Guidance through the application process timeline, and strategies for success
- Providing feedback on personal statement and application experiences
- Staging mock interviews
Regular visits will ensure you are a well-prepared and competitive applicant!
