Bill Albright’s Bear Series III – Teapot is a ceramic sculpture that blends the shape of a teapot with the features of a bear. With its rounded form, bear-like ears, and snout-like spout, the piece turns a familiar object into something unexpected and imaginative. By combining function with creativity, Albright invites us to see everyday things in new and surprising ways, showing how art can be both fun and thoughtful. Inspired by Bill Albright’s Bear Series III – Teapot, this activity lets you turn an ordinary teapot into an extraordinary animal! Start with a paper teapot cutout, then choose from a variety of fun shapes—ears, tails, legs, wings, and more. Use your imagination to mix and match the pieces and create your own teapot creature. Will it be a Teapot Turtle? A Parrot-Pot? A Bear with a handle? There’s no wrong way to create—just have fun and make it yours!

Community Art Day
Arts/Entertainment
Join us for a Community Art Day inspired by legendary photographer Ansel Adams and his striking black-and-white image The Grand Tetons and the Snake River, Wyoming. Adams was known for capturing the grandeur of the American West using only light, shadow, and masterful composition. His photographs invite us to see nature as both powerful and sacred. In this hands-on activity, you’ll create your own black-and-white landscape using black paper and white drawing tools. Focus on shapes, contrast, and mood—no color needed! Let the lines of the river or the peaks of the mountains guide your imagination as you craft a dramatic scene using only light and dark. We will be at the Farmer’s Market in Logan from 9:00 am – 1:00 pm.
