CIA Advisory Sessions

Workshop/Training

Sit one-on-one with a CIA Representative to explore career opportunities and life at the CIA. Come prepared with questions about positions found on cia.gov (recommend taking the short survey through the Website's "Job Fit" tool and bringing your results), resume style, cover letter format, and anything else regarding working at the CIA! Undergraduates and Graduates of all academic disciplines are encouraged to attend. All CIA positions require US citizenship and relocation to the Washington, DC area.

Whatever your academic and career aspirations may be, data and the visualization of that data is powerful! Come to this interactive workshop taught by Professor Reagan Siggard to analyze a sample data set and go through a hands-on exercise with Tableau. No prior experience or skill set is necessary. Beginner Excel (EBB 211): Are you in need of an Excel refresher? Or perhaps you’ve had little or no experience with Excel? Come to this workshop taught by Dr. Kelly Fadel to get started and learn the value of having Excel in your professional tool belt. Spots are limited so please register here. Intermediate/Advanced Excel (HH 124): If you are proficient in writing nested if-statements and vlookups, this Excel workshop is for you! Companies often express they want applicants with more Excel experience. Prepare for that next internship or job by attending this workshop taught by Professor Vance Reeder and build on the skills you already have! Spots are limited so please register here.
