Utah Agricultural Products BBQ

It’s nearly time for Aggie football and the annual Utah Agricultural Products Barbecue, hosted by Utah State University’s College of Agriculture and Applied Sciences (CASS). Start time for the barbecue is tied to the USU vs. James Madison football game kick-off time. The BBQ will get underway 3 hours prior to kick-off (time to be determined). The barbecue will feature Utah-grown beef, dairy products, pork, onion rings, salad, lamb, corn, apples, Creamies and more. The event is sponsored by Utah’s Own. A collaboration among participating commodity groups, companies, and CAAS, volunteers from commodity groups and the college prepare and serve the meal in an outdoor festival atmosphere where guests can try all sorts of delicious food. The event has become a beloved fall tradition at USU. All proceeds, including your donation, go to the Utah Agricultural Leadership Endowment at USU to help provide scholarships for future generations of Utah’s farmers, ranchers, and agribusiness people.

Old Main Hill Challenge

The USU Chemistry and Biochemistry Graduate Student Council invites Cache Valley's running enthusiasts to join in the Old Main Hill Challenge to raise funds for STEM outreach. Race up the stairs of USU's iconic Old Main Hill, and compete to see how many laps of the mile-long course you can complete in the allotted time. Winners will be given the title of Old Main Hill Champion! Entry fee is $15 for students; $25 for community members. Racers receive a Race T-shirt, post-race drinks and snacks, awards. Meet at the center of the USU Quad for race bib pick-up at 8 am; race starts at 9 am. Learn more and register at usu.edu/chem/students/graduate/old-main-hill-challenge

A Day of Giving is our opportunity to show our Aggie pride and gratitude for the impact Utah State University has had on each of us, in our communities, and around the world. On this day, Aggies can make a gift of any size to the designation of their choice.
