About This Degree

The Space Systems Engineering (MS-C) degree is designed to provide early- and mid-career professionals with post-graduate education and an opportunity to develop an understanding of system engineering from the perspective of the space engineering discipline.

The master’s degree is a coursework only program.

What You Will Learn

The program offers coursework in space systems engineering, space environment, space instruments, spacecraft controls, spacecraft navigation, astrodynamics, propulsion, aerodynamics, space flight dynamics, and associated supporting coursework.

Admission

Admission Requirements

Students must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in mechanical or aerospace engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.

Application Requirements:

  • Complete the online application
  • Pay the $55 application fee
  • Have a 3.3 or higher GPA on your last 60 semester or 90 quarter credits
  • Provide transcripts of all college/university credits
  • Provide three contacts for letters of recommendation

International students have additional admissions requirements.
