Utah State University provides hundreds of scholarship opportunities to admitted incoming students and current students. Students are encouraged to submit the USU General Scholarship Application via ScholarshipUniverse. This application uses student information to match students to institutional and private scholarship opportunities in order to fund your future!

USU General Scholarship Application

Current and admitted USU Students (incoming, certificate-seeking, undergraduate and graduate students) attending any USU location will find:

  • Institutional (USU) scholarships
  • Private, Community, and Corporate scholarships
  • College, Department, Major and Campus specific scholarships

As an Aggie, your profile has already been created! You will be asked to answer additional questions about your experience, employment and involvement. The more questions answered, the increased likelihood of being matched to scholarships that fit you!

All students eligible to submit a FAFSA are encouraged to do so as it may increase the number of scholarships you are matched to.

Incoming Students

Scholarship Agreements

A copy of your scholarship agreement was emailed to you. Check your USU and non-USU email accounts for an email with the following subject line: USU Scholarship Acceptance. If you are still unable to locate your scholarship agreement, please contact scholarships@usu.edu.

Scholarship Appeals

If you wish to submit an appeal for a scholarship you applied for, complete the online form linked below. Some reasons students submit an appeal is to request a reduced credit hour requirement, explain extenuating circumstances, using their scholarship during summer term, etc.

Workforce Services

The Utah Department of Workforce Services helps pay for a college degree for eligible students who are within 2 years of completing their degree.
