University Studies Designation Criteria

Depth courses must be at the 3000 level or above. They must be accessible to non-majors who have a level of academic preparation appropriate for upper division courses.
Depth courses must support and promote the goals of the University Studies program objectives. They should build on a significant number of the goals expressed in the general education rubrics for the appropriate designation categories. (See appropriate link below)
