Pregnancy and Pregnancy-Related Accommodations

The University is committed to creating an inclusive and accessible environment for pregnant and parenting employees. Pregnant employees cannot be excluded from employment opportunities, programs, or services and will be treated as others who have temporary medical conditions. Reasonable accommodations may be provided when they do not create an undue hardship to allow a pregnant individual to fully participate in employment opportunities.

Pregnant employees seeking accommodations should contact the one of the ADA Coordinators listed below.

Lactation Space: Nursing mothers must be granted reasonable time and space to express breast milk in a location that is private, clean, and reasonably accessible. Room locations, amenities at each location, and applicable special instructions can be found under Campus Resources.
