Do not let the name "Water Aerobics" fool you! This is a high-intensity, low-impact, high-calorie burn class. This class is created for all different age groups, physical conditions, and abilities. We do many different toning and strengthening exercises. It is extremely helpful for anyone who is feeling "burned out" and needing a change of routine. Not only does exercising in water reduce injury by protecting and cushioning your joints, but also helps with blood circulation. We use many different exercise equipment specifically made for water. Water reduces injuries, especially back pain, and also allows your joints more range of motion

This class is designed for those that want to push themselves physically in less than an hour! Each workout will provide a combination of cardiovascular, plyometric, and bodyweight movements and can be personalized to meet your fitness needs and goals. Whether you are an avid backcountry skier trying to stay conditioned or a relatively new student of fitness that wants to be tested in various aspects, this class will demand everything that you can bring each day to class!

This class will teach you the basics of mat work Pilates. As we go through the progression of exercises, we will work on proper breathing and posture. Each participant will learn how to increase control of muscle movements by gaining a greater sense of mind-body awareness. In addition to increased control, core strength and stability will also improve. We will focus on working all parts of the body equally to create better muscle symmetry for improved balance and coordination, better posture, and decreased stress and back pain. If you are looking for a class to help relieve mid-day stress while still increasing your muscle tone and core strength, then this is the class for you.
