Mario I. Suárez

Biography

Dr. Suárez's (he/him/el) research interests include LGBTQ+ studies in education, STEM persistence of historically underrepresented populations, demography of sexuality and gender, curriculum studies, and quantitative research methods. Dr. Suárez was born and raised on the Texas-Mexico border. Prior to doctoral work, he taught high school mathematics in Austin, TX. His work has been featured on nprEd and Univision.
