Terry Baugh
Terry grew up in Logan, Utah. She graduated from Utah State University with a degree in English. She co-founded Kidsave in 1997, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping older orphanage and foster children find permanent homes. Terry has adopted three children from Russia. Today, Terry remains the President of Kidsave and she oversees Kidsave advocacy, communications and development in Washington, DC.
Tim Stewart
Tim graduated from Utah State University with a B.S. in Political Science. He has spent over 20 years in the legislative and regulatory environment in Washington D.C. both on Capitol Hill and in the private sector. He is partner in three different government relations and consulting firms, including the Bennett Consulting Group which he established with former Senator Robert F. Bennett. He works with dozens of clients in many different sectors. His wife Marcia is a graduate of Utah State as well.
Omar Kader
Omar graduated from Brigham Young University and received his PhD in International Relations from the University of Southern California. He is the founder of Paltech, a professional services firm specializing in training. He is active in international affairs where he frequently serves on U. S. delegations monitoring elections in the Middle East and Asia. He is currently a member of former Secretary of State, Madeline Albright’s President’s Circle, at the National Democratic Institute.
David B. Lee
Mr. Lee is a principal in the Washington, DC based law firm of Lee & Smith, PC. He specializes in federal legislative and regulatory matters. He is a frequent lecturer on issues relating to the federal budget and the congressional appropriation process. Before entering private practice, Mr. Lee served as Chief of Staff to Congressman Gunn McKay. He is currently the Washington, DC lobbyist for Utah State University.
Deanna Okun
Deanna graduated from Utah State University with a degree in Political Science. She then went on to Duke University School of Law, where she graduated with honors. Following 12 years of service as Commissioner of the International Trade Commission, including two terms as Chairman, Deanna currently works as a partner for Adduci, Mastriani & Schaumberg, where she is an international trade lawyer providing legal and strategic advice.
Michael J. Kennedy
Michael Kennedy is Vice President for Global Government Relations and Public Policy for VMware, Inc., the global leader in data center virtualization, cloud, and mobile device management. At VMware, Michael leads policy advocacy for the U.S. federal government, the 50 U.S. States, The E.U., greater EMEA, and APAC regions. Previous to VMware, Michael was chief of staff to U.S. Senator Orrin Hatch and Vice President of Federal and State Relations for USU. Michael as an A.B. in Government cum laude from Harvard University.
Kayla Hall
Kayla Barclay Hall is a Public Relations Consultant in the Washington, D.C. area. She graduated from Utah State with a degree in Public Relations and Business Communications, and received her master’s degree in Strategic Public Relations from George Washington University. Hall was Miss Utah America 2008, where she spent the year as a spokesperson for Netzsmarts, an Internet and cell phone safety program. Hall even visited DC during her tenure to lobby for an internet safety bill. Following her completion of Miss Utah, Hall was able to give humanitarian service for two months in Peru. Kayla and her husband Tyson Hall (also an Aggie) are parents of two wonderful children and love spending time biking, playing sports, and visiting the beach.
