Light the ‘A’ Blue
Request to Light the ‘A’ Blue
This form must be used for all requests to Light the 'A' Blue. The ‘A’ can only be white or blue. No other colors are allowed.
The university has guidelines in place to approve blue light requests appropriately and consistently. The ‘A’ is lit blue for the following university events:
- Commencement (Logan & Statewide)
- Luminary/Connections (Logan & Statewide)
- Founder’s Day
- Finals week (Logan & Statewide)
- Athletic wins
- Faculty and staff retirement (annual reception)
- Faculty Awards Ceremony (annual)
You can request for the ‘A’ light to be turned blue for these additional university and student accomplishments or events.
- National championship or national competition wins:
- Club sports
- University clubs (USU Student Association & college)
- Other events or purposes approved by a dean or vice president (requests will be reviewed by the Blue Light Committee)
