Biography

Richie Call is the Head of the Department of Theatre Arts at Utah State University and Artistic Director of the Lyric Repertory Company. This is his 24th season with the Lyric Rep where his directing credits include: A Christmas Carol, A Fox on the Fairway, Murder for Two, And Then There Were None, The Odd Couple, Greater Tuna, and six episodes of the Vosco Call Spotlight. Previous acting credits at Lyric Rep: The Dresser (Norman), Christmas in Montpelier (Young Ross), All the Way and The Great Society (Lyndon B. Johnson), Peter and the Starcatcher (Smee), Arsenic and Old Lace (Teddy/Officer Brophy), Baskerville (Actor), The Mystery of Edwin Drood (Durdles), A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (Pseudolus), Tons of Money (Aubrey), The Woman in Black (Actor), The Drowsy Chaperone (Feldzieg), Lend Me a Tenor (Max), Big River (Pap Finn/King), The Mousetrap (Sgt. Trotter), Stones in His Pockets (Charlie), Noises Off (Gary), Chaps! (Clive), Deathtrap (Clifford), Route 66 (Andy), The Fantasticks (El Gallo), You Can’t Take it With You (Tony Kirby), Moon Over Buffalo (Howard), The Hollow (Detective Penny), Song of Singapore (Ensemble), Forever Plaid (Sparky), Dial “M" for Murder (Thompson), and One for the Pot (Stanley Smyth). Richie holds an MFA in Acting from Rutgers University, Mason Gross School of the Arts and a BFA in Theatre Arts from Utah State University.
