Fred Coad

Biography

Inveterate class clown who ran out of classes (BA and 2 masters) and after retiring from CPA and consulting has turned to radio DJing, pod casting and voice over roles. His first radio experience was at the University of Illinois’ radio station, WPGU 107.1 FM. He has served as emcee for senior talent shows, private parties and a beauty pageant.

He summers in Logan and DJs on USU’s radio station KBLU 92.3 FM LP as an 8*th senior. His podcasts on fredacoad.podbean.com have covered the Summer Citizens program in the Cache Valley along with other entertainment topics.

He was the golf tournament announcer for A Fox on The Fairway, the Lyric Repertory Company Production 2022. His most recent voice over roles for the 2023 Lyric Repertory Company, were a minor reporter for Break It Down and Principal Varney (and Mr. Lee) in The Marvelous Wonderettes.

He was dj “Bullseye” Miller in SH-BOOM! LIFE COULD BE A DREAM and radio news announcer in Shear Madness for the Lyric Company’s summer 2024 season.
