Biography

Dennis Hassan. Professor of Scenic Design at Utah State University, Dennis has designed over 200 productions for theatres from Hawaii to Maine. He also designs puppets, costumes, properties, corporate events, and immersive experiences. Favorites include Fun Home for Salt Lake Acting Company, Little Mermaid (puppets for “Under the Sea”) for The Hale Center Theatre, Magic Flute (puppets) for Utah Festival Opera and Musical Theatre, August Osage County for the Fulton Theatre, Light in the Piazza for Maine State Musical Theatre, and Sweeney Todd for ACT Honolulu. He has an MFA in theatre design from The Ohio State University.
