Kathy Mitchell

Biography

After spending several years in community theater, Kathy is delighted to be making her debut with the Lyric Rep at USU. Musical theater has never been a career but always a passion. Some of her most favorite characters are Mrs. Tottendale in Drowsy Chaperone, Cogsworth the Clock in Beauty and the Beast, Roz in Nine to Five, and a lifetime treat, Dolly in Hello Dolly. She has also enjoyed directing Smokey Joe’s Café, Damn Yankees, Some Enchanted Evening, and Singin’ in the Rain for PebbleCreek’s Showtime theater in Goodyear, Arizona. I dedicate this performance to John Mitchell, my love, and biggest fan.
