Austin Nield

Biography

Austin Nield is very excited to make his acting debut at the Lyric for the 2026 season after working as a run crew intern in 2024, then as a carpenter in 2025! Austin just completed his second year in the BFA acting program at Utah State. Where he recently played Master Page in Merry Wives of Windsor, understudied Mr. Darcy in The Wickhams: Christmas at Pemberley, and understudied Dracula in Dracula: A Feminist Revenge Fantasy, Really, and was also an actor in the immersive theatre production THE PARTY. Austin also stars as Tanner in The Legendary Bearlake Monster movie. Austin has grown up in Logan, participating in many productions with Logan High and Old Barn Community Theatre. In Austin’s free time, he spends time outdoors or riding on his motorcycle, and recently got scuba certified. Austin is beyond excited for this season at the lyric because of how powerful the shows are, and hopes everyone leaves with something special from each show.
