Auditions

Auditions for the 2026 Lyric Rep 60th Anniversary season are scheduled for Wednesday, November 19 from 2:30pm to 6:30pm in the Dance Studio (FAC 136) on the first level of the Chase Fine Arts Center on the Utah State University campus in Logan, Utah. The first hour of auditions is reserved for members of Actors’ Equity Association. Students and non-Equity actors may sign up for a slot any time between 3:30pm and 6:30pm by emailing our Production Stage Manager, Kelsey Koga, to request an audition time. In your email, please let Kelsey know what time would be ideal for you, and she will work to schedule you as close to your desired time as possible.

The entire audition package should be less than 4 minutes in length and include 2 contrasting monologues and a song. Please prepare the following…

  • 1 song:
    • In the style of either 1950s pop OR contemporary upbeat folk 
  • 2 monologues:
    • One contemporary comedic monologue
    • One contemporary serious monologue

All current USU Theatre students must audition in person. For non-current USU Theatre students who are unable to attend the auditions on this date, video submissions will also be accepted. All video submissions must be submitted to richie.call@usu.edu by November 18.

Previous members of the Lyric Rep acting company are not required to audition. If you would like to be considered, please send an email to richie.call@usu.edu to express interest in the season. This does not apply to current USU students.

Production Crew Applications

To apply for an open production crew position, please do the following:

  • All regular crew positions require skills and experience in order to meet the short timelines of a professional summer repertory season.
