Prep for High-demand Permit Sales Periods Using Queue-it
Queue-it is your safeguard against system overload during high-demand periods. Our high-demand periods are generally during the 1st day of a sales event.
To help ensure everything goes smoothly for you, please keep these tips in mind:
- Before the event starts, have all the information you will need to purchase your permit. This will include vehicle license plate number, make, model and color as well as payment method.
- Please use one of these compatible web browsers - Chrome, Firefox, Safari.
- You will have the best experience on a desktop/laptop computer using Wi-Fi rather than cellular connection on a phone.
- Visit our website at parking.usu.edu when the event begins. There is no need to log in early—everyone who arrives at the start time is treated the same, and early visitors do not receive priority.
- During high volume online traffic, you may be placed in a virtual queue. Do not refresh your browser or open multiple windows. Staying on the page is the best way to keep your place.
- The queue page will update as your turn gets closer.
- When it is your turn, you will have 5 minutes to click “Yes” and enter the site. Be sure to respond within 5 minutes to access the site. If you do not respond within 5 minutes, you will be returned to the end of the queue.
- If you experience any issues, please contact USU Parking by either calling 435-797-3414 or sending an email to parking@usu.edu. Be sure to include your Queue ID, which appears at the bottom of your screen. Also include your A-number.
- When you are finished, please log out for better internet security.
