Student Money Management Center

We know that paying for college is more than tuition, course materials, and housing. At the Student Money Management Center, Financial Coaches provide free, one-on-one coaching sessions to USU students. During your appointment, your Coach will review your USU balance and personal expenses to help you create a budget so you have a plan in place to pay your college and personal expenses.

We suggest you meet with a Financial Coach at least once every year. This may introduce you to financial aid resources you didn’t know exist, help you identify ways to increase your income & reduce your spending, and help you prevent late fees.

This was the best 1 hour I have had the entire 4 years that I’ve been at Utah State. I wish I would have met with you sooner!

I met with the money management center when I was worried about how to pay for my fall tuition. They lended an empathetic ear while I explained my unique financial situation, then he explained what financial assets I do have access to and what cost saving strategies I could utilize to maximize my dollar. They didn't rush my appointment at all and assured me that although I'm in a tough situation there was a way to pay for my last semester of school. I found the visit to the money management center to be very beneficial and it assisted me in making my financial decision for fall semester.
