USU has so many resources to help you with your venture. But just like it's hard to find a collaborator, it can also be hard to find these resources! Don't worry though, TAVI has you covered. We're compiling a directory of resources to help you on your venture journey. Whether you need something welded, or you need to ask for some advice about protecting your intellectual property, TAVI can help point you in the right direction.

USU makes the following resources available, for free, for all Aggie Ventures projects. This means any student, faculty, staff, or administrator who wants to work on a venture can use these for help.

Innovation Hub

The Innovation Hub at the USU Library is an adaptable learning space that brings together innovative technologies to support teaching, research, and creation at the individual or curricular level.

Idea Factory
The USU Sant Engineering Innovation building--location of the IDEA factory
The Idea Factory, operated by the College of Engineering, is a fully-equipped maker space with tools and equipment such as 3D printers and scanners, saws, sanders, routers, cutters, a monoFab, vacuum form, and more. Consultants are on hand to assist. Materials are available for purchase. Training is required.

The Metal Factory, operated by the College of Engineering, is a workspace equipped with mills, welders, presses, saws, fabrication tools, hand and power tools, and more. Consultants are on hand to assist and provide training. Materials are available for purchase.

The USTAR Bioinnovations Building at USU
Technology Transfer Services at Utah State University protects innovations developed within the university, working with industry leaders to implement USU-generated technologies. The office supports the advancement of innovation, entrepreneurship and economic development programs and initiatives on campus.

They collaborate with writers and communicators of all levels, on all subjects, and through all stages of writing.

The Center for Entrepreneurship, operated by the Huntsman School of Business, will help you foster skills such as creativity, self reliance, tenacity, persistence and resourcefulness through classes, internships and competitions that will help optimize your value as an individual to make an impact in the world and become an entrepreneurial leader.
