USU education college roles out new name with new degrees
The former Emma Eccles Jones College of Education and Human Services, originally named that in 2008, is now being recognized as the Emma Eccles Jones College of Education, Health, and Human Sciences.
This name change, although small, is echoing larger changes within the institution itself.
According to a Utah State Today article, “The revised name and organizational structure better align with the focus and framework of leading national organizations, including the Board on Health and Human Sciences within the Association of Public and Land-grant Universities, while reflecting broader organizational trends among peer research-intensive (R1) institutions.”
