By Madison McGrath |
Join Utah State University’s Department of Animal, Dairy, and Veterinary Sciences for the 2024 Reindeer Express on Friday, Dec. 6, in Wellsville.
The event takes place at the USU Equestrian Center on the Animal Science Farm (South Farm), located at 3580 S. U.S. Highway 89 in Wellsville. There will be two sessions: one from 3-4:30 p.m., and a second from 5-6:30 p.m. Tickets are only valid for the selected session; those wishing to attend both sessions will need to buy separate tickets.
This holiday adventure is packed with twinkling lights, heartwarming activities, and a chance to meet some very special guests: Santa’s hardworking reindeer. Children and their grownups will love seeing Santa’s reindeer up close as these beautiful animals get their pre-flight checkups from USU veterinary students.
Get ready for a sleigh-load of holiday activities:
- Meet the Reindeer: Watch some of the reindeer get health checkups to make sure they’re ready for their big night.
- Write Letters to Santa: Share your holiday wishes in a special letter to Santa.
- Santa Photo Opportunity: Don’t miss your chance to take a festive photo with Santa himself.
- Animal Encounters: Say hello and learn about our furry and festive friends, including camels, donkeys, horses and calves.
Gather your family, bundle up and come create holiday memories that will last a lifetime. Tickets for Reindeer Express are available online now. Individual tickets cost $5 and group passes for up to six people are $20. Proceeds from ticket sales help to build a scholarship fund for USU veterinary medical students. Please visit the Reindeer Express website for details.
