Aggies Tangle with 19th-Ranked Utes in 2009 Season-Opener

QUICKLY — Utah State [Univesity] (0-0, 0-0 WAC) will open the head coach Gary Andersen era against his old team, leading the Aggies against No. 19 Utah (0-0, 0-0 MWC) on Thursday, Sept. 3, in the 109th meeting between the Aggies and Utes. Kickoff for the 12th-most played rivalry in NCAA Division I Football from Utah's Rice-Eccles Stadium (45,017) is slated for 7 p.m. The clash between the Aggies and the Utes will be telecast on the mtn. (Comcast Ch. 37).
ON TV — Thursday's battle between the Aggies and the Utes will be televised by The Mtn. (Comcast Ch. 37 in Cache Valley). James Bates will handle play-by-play duties, Todd Christensen will provide commentary and Sammy Linebaugh will be the sideline reporter.
ON THE AIR — All Utah State football games are carried live on KVNU 610 AM and KLZX 95.9 FM in Logan; 1320 AM in Salt Lake City; on KLZX 105.3 FM in Montpelier, Idaho, and on the Internet at www.UtahStateAggies.com by clicking on "Listen Live".
