Aggies Tangle With Bulldogs Saturday

QUICKLY — Utah State (0-7, 0-3 WAC) plays the second half of its two-game homestand when the Aggies host Louisiana Tech (2-5, 1-3 WAC) in a Western Athletic Conference game on Saturday, Oct. 27, the 300th day of 200. Kickoff is set for 1:05 p.m. at Romney Stadium (25,513). Saturday's game will be broadcast regionally on Altitude Sports (Comcast Ch. 61 in Cache Valley) and on ESPN GamePlan. This is only the second time under head coach Brent Guy that the Aggies have had consecutive home games (last season's 41-21 loss to Idaho and 13-12 win over Fresno State) and Utah State is 10-5 in its last 15 games that were the second half of back-to-back home games. Saturday will feature two of the nation's top 10 punt returners in Utah State's Kevin Robinson (second - 21.4 ypr) and La Tech's Phillip Beck (10th - 16.1 ypr).

— All Utah State football games are carried on KVNU 610 AM and KLZX 95.9 FM in Logan; 1230 AM in Salt Lake City; on KLZX 105.3 FM in Montpelier, Idaho, and at www.UtahStateAggies.com through Yahoo! Sports with Al "Museum of a Memory" Lewis calling the play-by-play and Craig "I Love A Parade" Hislop providing analysis this week. ON TV/INTERNET — Saturday's game will be televised regionally on Altitude Sports (Comcast Ch. 61 in Cache Valley) and part of ESPN's GamePlan package - Trey Bender will be the play-by-play announcer with Rene Nadeau handling analyst duties. It is also available on the Internet through UtahState.tv.

COACHES SHOW ON THE ROAD — For the third straight year the Brent Guy radio show on Thursday nights (6:05-6:45 p.m. on 610 AM KVNU), will be held at different locations on campus. The show gives USU students an opportunity to ask questions and interact with Coach Guy and players. Food will be available at each show at a reduced rate from University Food Services. Here is a look at the schedule for next week:
