LOGAN — Sunday's Eagles-Packers game [Sept. 9] matched former Utah State University football players Kevin Curtis against Jarrett Bush, with Bush and the Packers prevailing, 16-13, on a last-second field goal.

Curtis, who played at Utah State from 2001-02, had two catches for 53 yards in his Eagles' debut, both of which set up Philadelphia field goals. The South Jordan, Utah, native is in his first year with the Eagles after spending the previous four seasons with the St. Louis Rams.

Bush, a Vacaville, Calif., native who played for the Aggies from 2004-05, had five tackles and a key fumble recovery to set up the Packers' winning score. The Eagles' J.R. Reed bobbled a punt with 59 seconds remaining and Bush recovered to give Green Bay the ball at the Philadelphia 31 to set up the winning field goal. Bush is in his second season and was one of four Packers rookies to play in every game last year.
