Elevating Hope Summit Recordings Now Available for Substance Use, Suicide Prevention Resources

Recordings from the 2025 Elevating Hope Summit are now available online, offering access to expert insights, tools and stories of resilience for those working to address substance use disorder and suicide prevention in Utah.

The summit brought together more than 250 attendees including health professionals, law enforcement, first responders and community members in Price this March, highlighting a shared commitment to improving lives through prevention and recovery.

“The Elevating Hope Summit reflects what’s possible when communities come together with purpose and shared commitment,” said Ashley Yaugher, lead summit organizer and Utah State University Extension Health Education: Advocacy, Research, and Teaching (HEART) faculty member. “The energy and collaboration at this year’s summit were inspiring, and we are happy to share that impact more broadly through online access.”

Now in its seventh year, the event was hosted by USU Extension’s HEART Initiative, the Southeastern Utah Health Department, and Four Corners Community Behavioral Health.

With the theme “Taking Substance Use Disorder and Suicide Prevention to New Altitudes,” the summit featured 19 expert presenters who shared evidence-based practices, real-world strategies and personal experiences.
