Fasten Your Seatbelts: USU Aviation Hangar Is Ready for Takeoff

PRICE, Utah — Utah State University Eastern invites the community to join in celebrating an exciting milestone for aviation education in Eastern Utah. USU Eastern is hosting a a ribbon cutting ceremony for the new aircraft maintenance hangar at the Carbon County Airport in January.

This state-of-the-art facility represents a major step forward in expanding hands-on, career-focused learning opportunities for USU Eastern students. Designed to support the growing Aviation Maintenance program, the new hangar strengthens workforce pathways, local industry partnerships, and real-world training right here at home.

Guests attending the ribbon cutting will receive an exclusive first look inside the new hangar and hear remarks from several individuals who were instrumental in bringing this project to life. From planning and partnerships to construction and program growth, the event will highlight the collaboration and vision behind this important investment in education and the regional economy.

Community members, partners, and supporters are encouraged to attend and help celebrate the future of aviation training at USU Eastern.
