Harris Earns Big West Player of the Week Honor Again

Aggie basketball player also named USU Athlete of the Week

Utah State basketball player Nate Harris was named the Big West Conference Player of the Week for the second week in a row as well as the Utah State Athlete of the Week for his performance in Utah State's two road victories on Thursday and Saturday [Jan. 22 and 24].

The conference award is selected by the league media relations directors, while the Utah State honor is voted on by a state-wide media panel.

Harris moved into a starting role in place of the injured Spencer Nelson last week and averaged 23.5 points and 7.5 rebounds while shooting 76.0 percent from the field to lead Utah State to road wins at Cal State Fullerton (57-49) and UC Riverside (62-58). (read full story)
