Media Advisory: USU to Host Press Conference Introducing Walker as Director of Athletics

Utah State University will host a press conference introducing Cameron Walker as Utah State’s 13th vice president and director of athletics at 1 p.m. Sept. 24. The press conference will be in the West Stadium Center of Maverik Stadium.

Media are encouraged to park in the lot to the west, enter the building through the south entrance and take the stairwell or elevator to the third floor. Doors will open 30 minutes before the start of the press conference.

Video and audio footage will be shared with the media after the press conference via email.

Press Conference Information

Day: Wednesday, Sept. 24.

Time: 1-2 p.m. Mountain Daylight Time.

Location: Third floor of the West Stadium Center (Maverik Stadium).

Speakers: Alan L. Smith and Cameron Walker.

Additional media interviews, including Smith, Walker and Interim Director of Athletics Sandy Barbour, will take place on the fourth floor of the West Stadium Center in the Founder's Suite (located on the south end) after the conclusion of the press conference.
