Meeting to Discuss USU Health Plan

Dr. Jim Davis, chair of USU’s Health Benefits Committee, will lead a discussion about proposed changes to the university’s health plan during a public meeting Monday, April 3, at 1 p.m. in the Eccles Conference Center auditorium. All employees are welcome, and a question-and-answer period will follow the presentation of the proposed plan.

Members of the Employee Benefits Advisory Board, comprised of representatives from all employee groups, will be on hand to answer questions.

Davis will present the “Health Plan Report Card,” which details the state of the university health plan over the last five years.

He also will outline recommended changes to the plan, including plan design changes and premium changes. Following feedback from USU employees, the advisory board will make recommendations to the president.

Handouts detailing the proposed changes will be available, and employees will have a chance to offer feedback. Employees can also contact their employee representatives to offer feedback. The board is soliciting input through April 13.
