President Albrecht and ASUSU Meet With Students at Tier II Tuition Forum

Utah State University President Stan L. Albrecht and Associated Students of Utah State University President Noah Riley met with students March 20 in the Sunburst Lounge of the Taggart Student Center in a public forum and discussed Tier II tuition.

Tuition will increase from $1,689 to $1,808 per semester for all undergraduate resident students taking 15 credits during the 2007-08 school year. The student priorities for the increase are scholarships, academic advising and selective investment.

The forum was held to gather input and feedback from students and present the Tier II committee recommendations to the student body.

“We remain dedicated to making a USU education available to every student who is prepared and committed,” Albrecht said.

Logan Ipsen, ASUSU agriculture senator and chair of the Tier II committee also spoke at the forum.
