Embarking on her first year as president of Utah State University, Elizabeth Cantwell is looking to the future. With that perspective in mind, her guiding vision and goals for the university are taking shape.

In this video, the 17th president offers her initial areas of focus for the university and briefly discusses how she anticipates addressing these strategic needs. As the university continues to grow, she says, so do USU's responsibilities: serving our communities, delivering impactful research, and ensuring a sense of belonging for every student at Utah State.

Seeking input to help shape the institution’s next 30 to 50 years, Cantwell is holding a series of listening sessions, where she welcomes questions, suggestions, and concerns from members of the Aggie community.
