Speaking the Language

USU English professor Charles Waugh received a grant to bring new voices about Vietnam to the United States. Waugh will travel to Hanoi, Vietnam, in 2008 to translate contemporary Vietnamese fiction. While abroad, he plans to interview people who taught American literature to North Vietnamese troops during the American War in Vietnam.
