BLANDING, Utah — As many colleges around the country are seeing declines in enrollment, Utah State University Blanding is celebrating a 1.4% increase in students this fall — an achievement that reflects the university’s commitment to the local community and its student-centered approach.
“This enrollment increase shows how hard our recruiting and admissions teams work to reach prospective students,” said Donna Blake, interim associate vice president for USU Blanding. “They work to create a personal connection with everyone they meet, show them what USU Blanding can offer them and give them guidance on their educational journey.”
USU Blanding has increased staff positions on their recruiting team over the past year, which has allowed for more outreach initiatives and connection with potential students. This growth is a testament that USU Blanding offers quality education as well as an exceptional student experience.

This residential campus gives students the opportunity to create friendships and receive dynamic education with small class sizes.
